K2L - Meth Orphan Project

A growing drug epidemic in rural Alabama is that of Methamphetamines. This need was brought to the attention of the Kids to Love Foundation after WAFF-TV 48’s Lee Marshall uncovered this story in Jackson County, Alabama.

When a meth bust takes place, police in full riot gear storm into the house where Meth is being made, usually in the middle of the night. The children are removed from these homes, stripped down naked and taken to the nearest hospital for evaluation.

The Kids to Love Foundation is currently partnering with other agencies and businesses to make sure these kids have what they need before they leave the hospital. It’s not their fault their parents are making bad choices. But it will be our fault if these children continue to go without.
