Kids to Love has been giving foster children a better chance at education since 2005. We know children can’t learn if they don’t have the necessary tools. That’s why Kids to Love started the annual School Supply Project. It is one of our most publicized programs. Each summer we ask individuals and companies to donate classroom necessities. Our volunteers fill bags with just about everything a child needs to begin the new school year.

Every year the School Supply Project gets bigger:
In 2005, Kids to Love provided school supplies for 766 foster children.

That number grew in 2006 to include 2,178 foster children.

In 2007, 3,100 foster children across Alabama and southern Tennessee received school supplies from Kids to Love.

And 2008 was our biggest year to date: 3,960 foster children received school supplies to start the new year.
