with siblings in foster care.
One of the unfortunate realities for many children in foster care is being separated from their siblings. Thousands of children in the Tennessee Valley area are in foster care, through no fault of their own. Many of these innocent children and youth are placed in different homes from their brothers and sisters, which increases their significant loss and sense of hopelessness.
Camp Hope is dedicated to providing a haven for children, reuniting siblings who are separated in foster homes and educating the general population about the foster care system and the needs of youth in foster care.
Camp Hope is a weekend camp that will give foster children a "home" atmosphere filled with fun actiivities, but most importantly an opportunity to build and maintain their sibling bond. Click here to contact Beverly Owings, Director of Outreach and Advocacy or call 334-207-5962.
Camp Hope is an outreach program of the Kids to Love Foundation a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization.
Together we can make a difference in the lives of children in foster care by fulfilling the need of positive, permanent connections.
