The WDRM Home town tour ended this weekend with the drawing of the winner of the Dierks Bentley autographed guitar donated by Capital Records. Listeners across the Tennessee Valley have been donating to the Kids to Love "More Than A Backpack" campaign for a chance to win. Grady Thigpen of Fayetteville won the guitar - but the big winner was our kids! iHeart Media Huntsville presented a check for $625. The 6th Annual Parson's Golf Tournament to benefit Kids to Love brought a record number of golfers to the links on Friday, July 29th. Held annually at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course in Hampton Cove, the tournament raises money to support Kids to Love's programs, which meet the needs of children living in foster care.
