Jack’s Restaurants “Show Some Love” with Substantial Donation to Kids to Love

Jack’s  2nd annual “Show Some Love” campaign lived up to its slogan as the restaurant chain collected an impressive $157,779 to support the Kids to Love Foundation.

“This donation is a testament to the dedication we and our customers have to the communities across our footprint of Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee and Georgia that Kids to Love helps to support,” said Todd Bartmess, Jack’s Family Restaurant CEO.

This is the second summer Jack’s has embraced Kids to Love as its corporate-wide charitable cause. Employees in all 143 stores invited customers to “Show Some Love” by donating money to Kids to Love as they placed their orders.  In addition to the monetary donation, Jack’s restaurants hosted events including car washes, spirit nights and motorcycle bike rides to collect pantry items and school supplies.

The money will pay for programs and services Kids to Love offers to foster children, including the annual summertime “More than a Backpack” project which this year served 5,458 students across four states.

Kids to Love’s newest ministry, Davidson Farms, a Home for Girls will also benefit from the successful campaign.   Kids to Love recently secured licensure from the state of Alabama to operate Davidson Farms as a group home for young women.  Led by house parents, Davidson Farms promises to be a place of refuge and restoration.

Jack’s is a long-time partner of Kids to Love. In addition to promotions involving the general public, Jack’s has supported Kids to Love by providing meals to Kids to Love volunteers, as well as students of KTECH, a workforce initiative of Kids to Love.
