KTECH Launches New Robotics, Soldering Training Programs

KTECH, our workforce training initiative, is celebrating two new job training opportunities to support the advanced manufacturing industry in north Alabama.   The new curriculum includes Robotics and Soldering. A ribbon-cutting at the KTECH campus made the expansion official on Tuesday, June 19th.

“KTECH’s purpose is to train and connect students with jobs in the advanced manufacturing industry,” says Kids to Love Founder/CEO

Lee Marshall.  “Adding these 2 programs proves we are relevant within Alabama’s advanced manufacturing industry.”

“The robots our students will train on are the same ones Toyota/Mazda will operate in their north Alabama plant,” says Dorothy Havens, Director of Workforce Development for Kids to Love. “KTECH is producing knowledgeable and dependable employees who are ready for the floor as soon as they graduate our program.”

KTECH has graduated 32 diverse students from its Mechatronics program and boasts a 100% success rate.
