Jack’s employees and customers know what it takes to “Show Some Love.”
In support of Kids to Love, the restaurant chain set a fundraising record, raising more than $217,000. The annual eight-week campaign was the largest single philanthropic effort in Jack’s 60 year history. Previous campaigns to benefit Kids to Love raised $178,000 and $157,000 respectively.
“At Jack’s, we are privileged to be a part of improving the lives of foster children,” says Jack’s CEO Todd Barnes. “One of our Core Values at Jack’s is to be an integral part of the communities where we do business. The Jack’s family – customers and team members alike – were passionate about doing their best to help out, and we are proud to partner with Kids to Love.”
Jack’s established the new Jack’s Family Fund over the summer. The Fund is a non-profit organization that strives to alleviate the unpleasant times of tragic events. The Jack’s Family Fund aides individuals and communities who find themselves in sudden need.
The Jack’s Family Fund aligns well with the purpose of Kids to Love, which meets the needs of foster children who often live in and are rescued from crisis situations.
The 2018 “Show Some Love” campaign collected $217,818.
“We love how Jack’s loves our kids!” says Lee Marshall, Founder and CEO of Kids to Love. “This partnership is an amazing support for our programs that directly impact the kids we serve in foster care. The Jack’s employees are amazing ambassadors for Kids to Love.”
Michael Greco, Chairman of the Board of Jack’s Family Fund, and Christy Malone, Jack’s Restaurants Brand Manger, presented a check to Lee Marshall at Davidson Farms on Wednesday, October 17th. Davidson Farms is a group home for girls operated by Kids to Love. Money raised will help support the girls who live at Davidson Farms.
