Kids to Love is Featured Expert in National News about Foster Care

Kids to Love continues to establish its reputation as a leading voice for children in foster care.

Pursuing a story about the crisis in for-profit foster care, NBC News contacted Kids to Love Founder/CEO Lee Marshall for her expert insight about the problems facing the foster care system.

"Government should not be raising children," Marshall said. "Children in the foster care system need to be placed with loving, forever families in the foster care system when their biological parents just can't take care of them."

As NBC News Reporter Chris Pollone reports, a senate committee study found privatized foster care often provides worse care than public or non-profit agencies.

As Pollone reports, the goal of advocacy groups is to get the attention of federal and state leaders with the hope more resources to benefit foster care will follow.
