TIPS stands for Trauma Informed Partnering For Safety
TIPS is a ten week class that potential adoptive/foster families complete. During the class
participants learn what to expect by opening their hearts and homes to children in the foster
care system. How to act and react to their needs. The class also prepares potential parents
through background checks and home studies. Finding a forever family for children in foster
care is a job that involves a lot of time and patience, but the journey for a family is worth it!
